Kirath Ghundoo

Kirath Ghundoo is a British-Indian artist and pattern designer based in the UK. With a love for interior spaces her work explores colour, shape, and print through her expressive abstract art and digital pattern work.  Inspired by travel, heritage and the everyday her work is a visual journal of the world around her evoking an emotive yet playful vibe. Her aim is to elicit a sense of joy and optimism through everything she creates.  

Technique driven, Kirath is constantly experimenting with mixed media to create special one off original pieces of art, capturing a moment in time or a seed of inspiration that is treasured within every single piece of original work. 

She launched her first wallpaper collection, ‘Mix ‘n’ Match 11’ at 100% Design, London in 2011 and since then has become a favourite of the design and interiors press both in the UK and internationally, with Living etc labelling her as "the queen of pretty geometrics.” The Mix ’n’ Match wallpapers iconic to her brand, disregard the rule book and encourage clients to have fun creating super cool feature walls of mismatched pattern and colour.
