Andrea Mongenie

Born in Paris, Andrea studied fine art and then fashion and printed textiles at University of the Arts in London. She worked as a set designer and art director before founding Borneo Studio in 2016. She currently works from her studio in East London.In her compositions, Andrea plays with light, texture and movement, expressing the interaction between shapes and colours, balance and discord. Her work is a tribute to the complexity of human nature, bringing contradiction, chaos and imperfection together to create beauty.Each piece is a doorway to a warm and tranquil world, instilling a sense of calm and empowering your imagination to run free.
