Landmark Student Art Prize

A look back at Landmark Art Prize 2022!

Landmark are one of the country’s largest providers of flexible office space, with 37 centres nationwide and 15 of those in London. In May 2022, they opened a brand-new centre at Kings Cross in the iconic Light House building. 

So, we teamed up with them to create an award to collect a selection of art to fill the space with. Landmark recognises the importance and power of art within a working environment, so it was a perfect match! 

We reached out to students, from all across London, to submit a selection of their works. They were everything from ceramics to textiles, print to sculpture – we wanted to see it all, the more unusual the better! 

There was an amazing selection of prizes that were up for grabs.

1. £5,000 Cash Prize

2. £2,000 Cash Prize

3. Art Materials and Tools to the value of £1,000

4. Club Space for 3 months to the value of £400

All shortlisted artist’s work will be on display within the office for a full year for hundreds of people to see every day. In addition, they are all being represented by the team here at Art in Offices, providing a great platform for young artists to develop their career. 

After reviewing the works and submitting them to a panel of judges a shortlist of 10 artists was produced. Everyone was then invited to the launch party, at which, the prize winners were announced.

The project was a huge success providing students an opportunity to see their work on public display as well as the opportunity to attend a ‘Continuing Professional Development Workshop,’ to aid their careers as professional artists.
