Away Day Art Lesson

Last week our brilliantly talented artist Laura Bennetton did a 1-hour art workshop for Hatch. Everyone got involved and had a go, everyone loved Laura, and everyone had a lot of fun!

Hatch is a social enterprise company that does training for female entrepreneurs. Our wonderful director Katie is an alumnus of the course and - knowing that she organises and plans unusual team building events - they reached out to her for a fun, exciting, and creative team-building activity!

We arranged for Laura to arrive at the venue that Hatch had hired, and we sent the materials (paper, pencils, etc.) in advance so that she was set up with everything she would need for her art class.

Laura delivered a still-life workshop to the group; she and the Hatch team sketched apples and had a great time doing so!

Laura knew how to work with people of all abilities and make it a fun workshop.  She threw in some warmup activities, got people giggling, taught them some skills and made the whole thing really relaxed and chilled.

Overall, everybody had fun and got to do something different with the people they work with!
